Goals & Serving your Highest Good

Hello, my beans,
Today honestly, was pretty good in the morning. My morning consisted of my usual morning routine and relaxing. My method when I get up is the following. First, I drink water when I wake up. Secondly, I stretch for a minute or two, maybe some yoga if I feel like I need to do some more intense stretches.  Making my bed is next. Once my bed is made I go downstairs and make myself a healthy breakfast and take my vitamins then, I brush my teeth and wash my face after I wash my face I meditate for ten minutes or so and to end my morning regime I journal all the things that I am grateful for. Doing this starts my day off on the right foot and takes my mind off the worries I have awaiting to come later when I go to work. Now, if you're an empath working at a place that involves being around a bunch of people at once can be quite tiresome. I am an empath, so working at my local grocery store as a cashier gives me a bit of anxiety. Dealing with situations where people aren't ever really in a good mood and are stressed continuously is a bit hard to handle some days. So I am here to tell you that setting goals and doing things to serve your highest good is something we should all strive for, especially since we're not only going into a new year but an entirely new decade. With the year 2020 rapidly approaching, now is the time to set goals and remove things that no longer bring joy. By no means am I telling you to go out and drop your best friend or romantic partner because of something being a bit dull or because of you two arguing where to eat the other night. I am merely saying you should do things to help you grow as a person. Rather than saying to yourself that you will start these goals in January, start them now! Nothing is holding back. Make a list of things you want to accomplish for the year 2020. For example, clean out your closet of old clothes that you don't wear anymore and donate them to those in need, I mean it is the season of giving after all. In doing so, not only are you helping those in need, but you're also making room for new things to come into your life. Also keeping a journal and reading are some relaxing habits I recommend, especially before bed. If you know me, it's not a cozy evening if I don't have my hot tea with a book in hand. Honestly, though, you can develop good habits and live a healthy lifestyle before the new year. All it takes is an idea, some commitment, and believing that you're worthy of having it happen. Now go out there and start your resolutions. I hope you all have a great night and get plenty of rest. :)
