Goals & Serving your Highest Good

Hello, my beans,
Today honestly, was pretty good in the morning. My morning consisted of my usual morning routine and relaxing. My method when I get up is the following. First, I drink water when I wake up. Secondly, I stretch for a minute or two, maybe some yoga if I feel like I need to do some more intense stretches.  Making my bed is next. Once my bed is made I go downstairs and make myself a healthy breakfast and take my vitamins then, I brush my teeth and wash my face after I wash my face I meditate for ten minutes or so and to end my morning regime I journal all the things that I am grateful for. Doing this starts my day off on the right foot and takes my mind off the worries I have awaiting to come later when I go to work. Now, if you're an empath working at a place that involves being around a bunch of people at once can be quite tiresome. I am an empath, so working at my local grocery store as a cashier gives me a bit of anxiety. Dealing with situations where people aren't ever really in a good mood and are stressed continuously is a bit hard to handle some days. So I am here to tell you that setting goals and doing things to serve your highest good is something we should all strive for, especially since we're not only going into a new year but an entirely new decade. With the year 2020 rapidly approaching, now is the time to set goals and remove things that no longer bring joy. By no means am I telling you to go out and drop your best friend or romantic partner because of something being a bit dull or because of you two arguing where to eat the other night. I am merely saying you should do things to help you grow as a person. Rather than saying to yourself that you will start these goals in January, start them now! Nothing is holding back. Make a list of things you want to accomplish for the year 2020. For example, clean out your closet of old clothes that you don't wear anymore and donate them to those in need, I mean it is the season of giving after all. In doing so, not only are you helping those in need, but you're also making room for new things to come into your life. Also keeping a journal and reading are some relaxing habits I recommend, especially before bed. If you know me, it's not a cozy evening if I don't have my hot tea with a book in hand. Honestly, though, you can develop good habits and live a healthy lifestyle before the new year. All it takes is an idea, some commitment, and believing that you're worthy of having it happen. Now go out there and start your resolutions. I hope you all have a great night and get plenty of rest. :)

Morning Divination

Hello, lovelies,
I want to say that I love starting my day with some divination to see how my day will unfold. I also find it fun, exciting, and useful. Divination is used to gain insight. Tarot cards are just one of the most common forms of this. I use my tarot and oracle cards to help with questions I feel are left unanswered, confused about, or to help others. The decks that I love using involve aesthetically pleasing artwork and ones that just call to me. Have you ever walked into a clothing store and just bought something because it was calling to you? Well, that is what I am talking about when I get a deck of cards. First, when I do my morning divination, I always like to meditate on putting myself in a positive state of mind. Once that is done, I will say my question aloud; today, that question was, "What do I need to know about today?". For those of you reading this blog and are curious about what the message I got from these cards, I will tell you in a second. The word I got basically said four things. First being that strength will bring about significant changes. I believe this to be true, not just for me but for everyone. People say that the mind is a powerful thing. That may be true, but one needs to have the right mindset to bring about said change. Next was don't worry. I know this is easier said than done, but we can't consistently live in a state of fear because that will just instill more things to worry about in life. After that came death to limiting beliefs. My advice for those of us saying to ourselves that we aren't good enough remember that you are good enough. You deserve all the joy and happiness that comes your way! Connecting to the message just mentioned is your hard work is paying off. You have worked really hard lately and will soon see the fruits of your labor. I will say the growth won't be an overnight thing, but you have to be grateful for the growth and progress you have made along the way. No matter how big or small that growth, maybe you still learned from it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and enjoy your holiday parties with friends and family. Don't forget to show love and compassion towards others and make choices that benefit your highest good. :)

Books and Tea

In the evening I always like to unwind with a beautiful book and some tea. Lately, I've been drinking lemon herbal tea for the fact that I am combating a cold at the moment, which has me feeling a bit down, but I can guarantee that I will be feeling better tomorrow for sure. So if you are looking for any book recommendations, I have a few in mind. If you're looking for a self-transformation book, "365 ways to live the law of attraction" is a good one; it consists of 20 chapters that are about 10 pages long. This small book has many useful tips to change your mindset into a more positive one, and it has helped me for sure. This book was one I just finished, and it was overall a great read that I feel you would genuinely enjoy if you're looking for a way to improve your life. Another great read was "Girl in Pieces" by Kathleen Glasgow. This was one I read back in 2017, and I absolutely loved it and would read it a hundred times over if I had the chance. This book teaches a few lessons on friendship and will power. I will say this book has me choking up a little bit at times, but I loved it. Currently, I am reading "Tell me Three Things," and I will say it is a pretty good read even though I am only one chapter in. I hope you all have a healthy and happy holiday and spend it with the ones you love.

Cozy Evenings

Hello everyone,
So if you're in the northern hemisphere it's for the most part pretty darn cold around this time of the year. So what I like to do in the evening is get all cozy with a nice book to read with a face mask maybe and yoga for ten to fifteen minutes I find is a good way to end my day and get ready for bed. If you're a bookworm like myself, I will jump back and forth between a few books at once ranging from fiction for young adults to books about the stars and horoscopes. Other than reading I will occasionally open up my sketchbook before bed and doodle to let my mind wander with some relaxing music in the background, Most importantly, I will always journal before I go to bed. I find that journaling helps reduce my stress and it can be good for manifestations and keeping track of your mood as well as seeing what areas you need to work on and grow. I hope you all have a very good night and get plenty of rest :)
